Melrose Avenue

Melrose Avenue, a band of punk rock misfits bred among the ashes of a post covid Australia, The
cross-state dark love story that was literally given no other option than to blossom online or
drown in the tidal wave of acts desperately seeking validation for the art they could no longer
share from the comfort of a mid city dive bar stage.
And blossom they did, A collective of 2.2 million tiktok and 1.5 million instagram followers will
testify to that, embracing what so many artists cannot, and becoming the 8th most viewed music
act on tiktok (Australia / New Zealand) in 2023 with an audience that spans more than 60
countries naming USA, Germany, The UK and Australia in their top 4.
Taking influence from heavy rock/ Metalcore heavyweights Bring Me The Horizon, Memphis May
fire and Lincoln Park, Melrose Avenue are what a betting man would call a sure thing! But it's not
just the audience size that makes Melrose Avenue the most exciting heavy music proposition of
2025, it is the sheer talent and charisma that radiates from every essence of this band both
together and individually making Melrose Avenue an undeniable future success story.
Led by 24 year old, vocal powerhouse and songwriter Vlado Saric, Melrose Avenue is a band of
accomplished musicians the band driven by the hook ridden shred style of the literal beast that is
guitarist Mitchell Black, the overwhelming charisma and unprecedented drumming styles of
drummer and '2023 Bachelor Australia' Jed Mcintosh and finally the subtle and humble makings
of the man that brings it all together, the glue of Melrose Avenue, guitarist/backing vocalist
Shawn 'Red Curl' Mayer.
Announcing their signing to LA based Punk Rock staple label 'Hopeless Records' in October 2024,
Melrose Avenue released their debut ep 'The Fool & The Beggar' with the title single immediately
added to Octane and ep streams racing up above 10 million global streams.
Let's wait and see what 2025 holds!
