Based out of Atlanta, Georgia, The Reflex was formed by an all-star group of veteran musicians who shared two realizations: they had a deep love for the British synth pop and new wave explosion of the 80s and 90s, and nobody was truly delivering a live multimedia celebration of the iconic music of Duran Duran. What began as a passion project quickly evolved into one of the Southeast’s premier tribute acts, bringing audiences an authentic, high-energy concert experience packed with the songs, visuals, fashion, and larger-than-life spirit that made Duran Duran one of the defining bands of the MTV generation.

As the band continued to grow, they discovered something important: audiences weren’t just hungry for Duran Duran. They were hungry for the entire movement. That realization led to the creation of their sister project, Lips Like Sugar.

Lips Like Sugar expands the experience into a broader celebration of British synth pop and new wave from the 80s and 90s, featuring the music of Depeche Mode, Human League, The Cure, Eurythmics, Kate Bush, Howard Jones, Tears for Fears, New Order, and many more. The show captures the atmosphere, emotion, and unforgettable hooks that defined a generation of music lovers, delivering a night filled with nostalgia, sing-along anthems, dance-floor classics, and iconic sounds that still resonate today.
